Hi,
im pretty new to this but was stuck on a question and thought why not,
im a top pupil in my school getting straight a's except for the course i want i need the a* in literature
however i have been having problems with a piece of coursework on great expectations
I have come stuck on what the main themes are due to the fact it maks no sense to me. i have no understanding of it and was wondering whether anyone here would be able to shed some light on it.
the question is, how effective is the opening chapter of great expectations as an opening to the novel?
