Does anyone know if it is correct that when you meet the Pope you would kiss his ring and if so ... does anyone know what it signifies?
And can anyone shed any light on the Honour Cloth ... which is refered to in portraits in 16th c. Italy... the cloth that hangs behind the subject? Many thanks. :nod:
