Hello all. The forum keeps suggesting that I introduce myself, and who am I to deny it?
My name is karen alexander (frequently written in lower case) and I am a 30-year old marketing assistant. I am an avid reader, and though there are certain books I won't touch (unless no-one's watching) I enjoy a varied selection of topics, writers and genres. My current favourite is "The improbably future" by Alice Hoffman, a book with such beautiful prose that it could conceivably make you weep. This is the same reason why I adore reading Annie Proulx, though I invariably end up feeling inferior!
I am currently working on my second manuscript, and hope to be published this year or the next.
Pleasure's all mine ;)
