must compare rob in hornby's high fidelity to bernard in huxley's brave new world... the theme is alienation. so far, i know rob's is largely self-imposed whereas bernard feels like an outsider because of his physical unorthodoxy, so he starts to behave like one.

need additional points within this theme, however. that's pretty much all I've got going.

help would be greatly appreciated!
