Which litnetters' usernames come to your mind when you first log in to litnet?

Which usernames come to your mind when you first log in to litnet, or each time you think of this site?

Nope, I'm not making this thread up just to ingratiate with people or discriminate against others (nooo way!!!). I simply created this so we could let these people know how we think of them :ladysman: (aww). :angel:

I have high regard for all the members of litnet (except for those who post spam and advertise illegally on the forums). Yet for some reason, the names of certain litnetters seem to form in my mind just before I log in, usually when I start typing the name of the site. These are (in no particular order or rank!:)) LilyAdams, Bakiryu, kiz_paws, Shalot, crazefest456, NikolaiI, BulletproofDork, andave_ya, the three Filipina sisters (toni, Recurra, and Laindessiel), GadgetGirl, all the other Pinoys, Niamh (who can forget her?), Scheherazade, Logos, Lote-Tree, SleepyWitch, papayahed, SweetsAmerica and Pendragon. Upon entering the games forum, it's the name B-Mental that sticks in my mind.

Remember, this is not a list entitled "The Only People I Like In Litnet," but simply a list of "Prominent Litnetters Whose Names Stick In My Mind Whenever I Go To Litnet" which is subjective and subject to change. I know several other litnetters, and I respect all of you guys equally. There are lots of you whom I would love to know! :D

okay, although I haven't been here too long, I actually do have a list:
the first person I think about is B-Mental, just because he's always online around the time I sign on...then I think about all these in no specific order: kiz_paws, Jamesian, Nikolaii, Pendragon, Blazeofglory, eyemaker, Kit(I have a hard time spelling your name, sorry), LadyWentworth, Papayahead, dramasnot, Virgil, Mtpspur (I love saying this out loud..."empty puspur"), Lily A, Shalot, Mazhur, Dark Muse...there are so many I think about!!...Princemysh and Sweets, new one is Savarruci (sp?), Pensive! I think I think about lit-net way too much...I basically should just put the whole list on here. Oh! and amphoule and Il Pene (when I enter the poetry section), oh and Bailey, Baki, Bullet, Steph, MotherH (their names clump up together in my mind for some reason)...and Lote and LadyW whenever I'm about to go to the gen. chat section.

I know it looks ridiculous that I remember all these people when I sign on, but I really, REALLY do! I scan through each subject the forums split up in, and associate a few of the above with those...oh and Claes (whenever I'm about to go through a picture thread)...

I think of so many people when I think of LitNet...it's impossible to list them all...

I think of Virgil, as an example. It's hard to realize he's not a moderator because he gives off moderator-y vibes...and he was the first person I talked to here.

Ok, I think of: Nikki, Countess, Virgil, Mtspur, Lily, YOU, Taliesin (actually I started laughing in the middle of my history class since one character (?) started referring to himself as "we", it was very awkward), Pendi, Bailey, Shurtz, Greenie and lote-kun, Crazefest (It's the avatar!), Frodo, Andya, I miss Seph, Oooh and Steph. MotherHubbard, Poppy and Granny (wonder where they are?), Mercury and of course: Kathy, B-san, Kiz, Kilted, Bob, and Neeev!

This happens to me a lot as well - certainly with just about everyone who's been listed so far, and especially people who are frequently on when I am (this includes you, craze, as well as kiz, B-mental, etc.).

However, I also tend to associate the site with LitNetters who aren't on so much anymore - folks like Mono, subterranean, and cuppajoe (plus the abovementioned Pendragon and Nightshade) who were major contributors with astronomical post counts I joined back in the day.

The people i think of are generally the ones who do be online when i'm on, like papaya, Aimus, Nightie, lady wentworth, B, virgil, Good old pensive and Pen. Every now and then i wonder if Stan or Kathy will pop by and i'll see their names logged in:( your name sticks in my head also Kit. Think its got something to do with the way you write it, and you dont exactly be on at the same time as me.

I always look for motherhubbard and browneyedbailey first, then I see if firefangled, ampoule, jon1it, cdnreader, princemyshkin and sweets, pendragon, or virgil, logos, have posted anything. I always check to see if Baki has anything to make me smile, because she always does. I love the poetry so I look to see what has been posted. I check to see if Aunt Shecky has any pointers for us. I know I've missed a bunch. I spend most of my time catching up on everything because I don't seem to get to be here as often as I'd like.

In no particular order:

Virgil (the first person I talked to in posts or comments when I discovered litnet, and the first one who, to say so, acknowledged my existence here, which somewhat affected that I do not leave litnet after a dozen of posts, as it was the case with some other forums I discovered before this one :D), Johann (but because of the messages we exchange more than activity in the forum itself, and because we are of the same age, similar interests and roughly originate from the same place, and because I can speak my native language with him which I do not do even with my parents, and because he simply appears to be an interesting person), Bazarov (explanation similar as for Johann, and he was one of the first ones I spotted even before I knew we had some things in common), St Luke (one of the first members I noticed as in, remembered them due to the quality of their posts, and I really like to read his ones), and Manolia (she knows why, and was also one of the first ones I talked to here, and even despite that I just, even though I do not know her even remotely well, connect her with all things nice and warm from one nice and warm country with a language which came the closest the human language can to the language of God, where I spent the best weeks of my life, so I practically anyone from there link in my mind with that kindness :)).

They would be the first ones off the top of my head, though I have certainly spotted other people too, but mostly by their nicknames only (i.e. I know the nicknames I see often, but I do not know much about the people behind those nicknames, or their posts, even if I read them, somehow I have not formed yet picture of them).

It's a very nice username indeed, mercy_mankind. I have always seen it as one with high social and spiritual relevance. My username is simply a combination of my nicknames and the word "Rock" so that it sounds like "Rockista" (rockstar) with the "s" and "t" reversed
