So this is my problem. Anytime a sports betting pool comes along I put in a buck or two. Just today I bought squares for the superbowl and AFC/NFC chanmpionship games.

I am not a winner and I'm not lucky. Why do I always participate?

Do you know how many margarita's $14 will buy??:D

now that I think about it, it's probably the camaraderie.

Sidenote: I think I'm losing the ability to spell. More and more I rely on spell check. Like just now - I couldn't remember how to spell "rely" I wrote "Relie".

Maybe...2? At a typical restuarant. :p

People usually like the risk,it gets you excited and hopeful, even if you are often left dissapointed. Adds some adrenalin to dull daily life.

seeing as that is only about 9€ that would only get me one and a half.

I always play Powerball even though I never have won more than $7, which would buy a good marguerita. I don't know...you can't win unless you play though. Maybe when you do win, you will win big.

That's true. I used to be in a lottery club, that never won.

We used to be able to buy a caraffe (I think it was a liter) of margaritas for $12, then the restaurant got famous and jacked up the price to $18. Those were some of the best margaritas I've ever had.

$14 dollars = two margaritas, not including the tip, if the margaritas are made the way margaritas should be made.
