i played Diablo II as a kid. I'd love to play it again! but it drags on forever and I never found as many cool weapons as my brother and it took me ages to get an upgrade (or whatever it was).

I also like Civilization III (no good at it, though) and I adore old jump and run games like Duke Nukem I+ II, Jill of the Jungle, Commander Keen, Jazz Jackrabbit, Xargon... don't get me started on jump and run games

haha :) I downloaded it for free somewhere, but there seems to be a bug in the second (?) level and you can't enter one of the goody areas... oh yeah, there's also this mean devil that I couldn't get past... was he always there? when my bro and me played it as kids, the game was easier I think. ???
after the witch transformed me into a frog about a hundred times and I had to get a kiss from the female rabbit 200 times...

I have the soundtrack to Jazz Jackrabbet on my Zen.

Earthworm Jim :)

Good old Nostalgia, I have played way too many games to count. I had a hell of a lot of fun with games like Moo and Star control.

And then there was Wing Commander and Privateer, still incredible. The X-wing Series.

The games Sleepy mentioned, played them all in some version or another. The Lucas arts Adventures, Idiana Jones, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, maniac Mansion, Monkey Island. Then there was the King Quests and Police Quests. Or Simcity and sequels. I loathe Simcity Societies, it's BORING! to the extreme. Caesar game series, Reunion,

Baldur's gate I+II, and the best Computer RPG ever made, Planescape: Torment.

That's the tip of the iceberg right there.

Was that a cartoon also? I sounds familiar but I don't know where I know it from.

I have always been a big Sims fan :D
Sims 2 is pretty amazing but my favourite ever was the original Sims with the expansion pack: Makin Magic ;)

anyone remember Robots? (if that's what it was called?). it was an old 2D game where you had to find keys etc. there were those bugs and yo-yos what went click, click, click....(they looked like metal hamburgers, only in purple, green etc)

it was kinda difficult, but I'm getting really nostalgic now

Oh, I remember that sleepy...It was called Robotron in the US...is that the one where the bad guys kept coming from all directions, and then every fifth level there was a group of big brained ones that shot at you...I used to love that...had two handles one for where the character went, and one for where the character shot.

Classic game (though not as old as I once thought it was).

Actually, I take that back. Diablo was classic. Diablo II was (and is) LEGENDARY.

:) does it still run on today's comps? I mean aren't they too fast or something?
I want to play it again! but first i must get a mouse for my laptop.
i was never particularly good at (in terms of scores and the weapons I collected) it but I managed to cling on and play one level after another.
do you remember those little voodoo creatures that shoot peas at you? brrrr, they gave me a lot of trouble

I have it on my laptop, and I just got it this summer. I had to download a graphics patch to go with Vista, but after that, it worked all right.

Oh, yeah, the Fetishes and such - those guys are incredibly annoying, and they deal a lot of damage really quickly. Kinda have to slog through those.

I usually get a lot of my items from gambling, but I occasionally do find the nice Set or Rare item out in the field. Not enough Magic Find for a lot of the good stuff, though.

And I forgot to mention the dear good GTA Vice City, much of my summer holidays were spent playing it and when I had completed most of its missions and had set up my property there in the game, I lost it. :(

I like nintendo console and hand-held games more than computer games. never really got much into computer games. Sims2 is pretty good though.

Here's some nostalgia though - how about Oregon Trail?! I think that every kid who was in elementary or middle school in the US in the early 90s has probably played Oregon Trail, yes? :D

Oh, also the King's Quest games. I played one of them when I was in elementary school I forget which. And my boyfriend downloaded and played them all a while ago, they were pretty fun to watch.

hey guys,
I've just discovered Crystal Caves, another old DOS platform game (by apogee, I think). It's hellishly tricky. it's one of those old thingies where the controls are clumsy and you if you stand one millimetre too far to the left or right and you want to jump up, you plunge down and have to start again. plus in one level, the gravity is reversed, i.e. you stand upside down on the ceiling and when you jump, you fall downwards... brrrrrrrrrrrr couldn't complete this one.
what's really annoying is that you only have 3 little hearts and whenever a monster touches you, you lose one of them completely.... brrrrrrrr

I'm afraid but I am totally unfamiliar with all of the games mentioned. :(
I only play 3 games in the computer, well, aside from Club Penguin (http://www.clubpenguin.com/), and Gaia Online (http://www.gaiaonline.com), my favorite is The Age of the Warrior (http://www.y8.com/games/Dragon_Fist_3_Age_of_the_Warrior):thumbs_up

I'm addicted to Bubble Bobble, and its sequel Rainbows Islands!!! (aka Bubble Bobble Part 2). From what I've read there's like 5 or something Bubble Bobble games!! :eek2: Although the 5th one is counted as the 3rd one or something weird like that... But that's just what I've read so I'm not fully sure
