On a EBay auction was there a very spooky picture. People who have seen the photographs of the picture have described strange expeiences and children have wept in terror. Truth? Fake? Hysteria?
I don't know. But it was quite unnerving for me.

You have been warned.

Here can one see the picture. (http://www.surfingtheapocalypse.com/haunted_painting.html)

What do you think?

Those old dolls always gave me the creeps anyway.

The painting certainly appears creepy, but I stand as a sceptic regarding such odd, metaphysical occurrences. I, honestly, have belief in the super-natural, but I feel some perceptions can exist mainly driven by extreme fear and anticipation.

Spooky alright!! Brought to mind Damien, nothing like a souless devil child to scare the crap out of you.
To be honest did not read to much of the narrative because I have only recently, at quite an old age, stopped sleeping with my light on at night!!
I do like that scary stuff though, and the art is pretty impressive, it eminates such darkness. It is powerful because the boy looks right into you, so you feel like the one who is being watched.
I am such an idiot, I actually do feel a bit freaked out now. Damn overactive imagination!!!

I am sitting here using the computer all alone in the house. In the distance the birds are singing and a dog is barking, but apart from the sound of the computer running all else is silent and still. I just visited the site suggested by Taliesin and gazed at the picture for a few minutes. It really is creepy and gradually you notice more and more things going on in it. The hands at the window and the eyeless sockets in the doll's head...and what is she holding?. So here I am in the silent and still house looking at the creepy picture when suddenly...there is a sign and a groan from under my chair!!!! I nearly hit the ceiling!

I wish the cat wouldn't 'talk' in his sleep. I didn't realise he had curled up under my chair.
