By all means.

Seems I was a little lax in posting puzzles in this thread.

In addition to Kiz's here's another:

Three boys were playing online. Dan won twice as many games as David and Don combined. Don won twice as many games as David and eight fewer then Dan.

How many games did each win?

Find a five-digit number in which the first digit is double the second, the third digit is two less than the second, the fourth digit is the sum of the second and third, and the last digit is one less than the first. The sum of all the digits is 19.

A banquet hall contains only chairs and round tables, and has 10 chairs at every table. Each table has 8 legs and each chair has 4 legs. The total number of legs on all the tables and chairs is 960. What is the maximum number of people that can be seated (one per chair) at a banquet in this hall?

Scheherazade

Do we divide by 4 and then again by 2 and the remainder is the number of chairs?
or wait is it 960/48 ( the number of legs chairs +table per every 10 people?) in which case that is 20 sets of ten people equalling 200?
I hate maths!

If nobody else has any I have another one:

complete the sentence by filling in the blanks with four words that each differ by one letter. The changed letter will be in the same position in each word, as in bake, bale, base, bane.

The disco owner __________ confidently down the aisle as he __________ to set up the __________ light before the __________ of midnight.
