You stopped by
to work on my love life,
When you were ready, you asked,
Do you love me?
You watched my face, full on,
for the code because you knew,
I would not say it.

You stopped by
to work on my computer,
When you were ready, you said,
Type in your password.
I watched your face, full on,
and as I began to type,
you looked away.

This is so imaginative the way you bring the first and second together over codes. I especially like the realism of the metaphor in the second stanza.

This made me here the lines from Abby Road: "I never give you my pillow, I only send you my invitations, and in the middle of the celebration we break down."

Very, very good poem, Amp.

This is what I call enigmatic and reality at work. We try to be in sync in life but things do not go the way we want as a matter of fact. We want to love, but hate comes in. We want to believe someone as our own but betrayals prevail on.

This is the tragedy we live in and we can not help it.

I suspect this could use a visit to or by the punctuationologist, but my God, woman! you're every bit as good when you are being cryptic or succinct as when you're in gorgeous full spate!
