Hello everybody. I come to the mases for help in finding a book!
OK, I used to work a graveyard job at a school for kids that were in trouble one way or another, and I found a book lying around that I started to read. I swear that the name of the book was "I Am" but I am now starting to doubt my memory since I can find nothing anywhere about it. I remember nothing about the author. I do remember a little about the story line though.
It was about a group of people (in the future I assume) where there was no individual identity. The whole story is written in first person, like a journal entry or something along those lines. The plot pretty much is nothing more than the person who's "journal" we are reading progressing into thinking about himself, as an individual, and not as a a part of the whole collective (yeah...kinda borg like I guess).
At any rate, if anyone has any idea what book I am talking about I would lik to hear from you. I loved the book (I read it in one night...although it is only 200 pages or something like that).
