Hello everyone!!! :)

I know it can be a busy time of year, but please, take a moment of your time to check out the two threads linked below.

Two illustrious, long-time, and well-respected members of The Literature Network have recently won competitions, and I'm sure they would love to hear from you! :D

It's stuff like this that we like to think in part makes this forum unique; the community spirit and the continuing encouragement and appreciation of all our authors and poets.

A lot of planning and organising goes on behind-the-scenes here at LitNet, especially by our dear Scheherazade (http://www.online-literature.com/forums/member.php?u=3093). So a big thank you to her for her enthusiasm and efforts in making these events a success. And thank you to all who submit their works and enter such competitions, LitNet would not be the same without you! ;)

Oh, congrats! I'll read them right now! I've never read any of Petrarch's works, but I have Virgil's and I must say he is an amazing poet.

Yes, I love LitNet. This place is so cool. I'm not any of those, but I sure do appreciate good writing!

And thank you, Scher! I'm sure you work very hard.

Ohhhhh yeaaaaah.

Maybe Larry is the mastermind behind such beautiful literary works. Like how people talk about how Billy Shakespeare was really a bunch of people?

 Kidding, obviously.

I congratulated Petrarch's Love for her winning entry in the Short Story Competition ....

... But I didn't congratulate you, Virgil, properly -- sorry to not have done this a LOT sooner. M-H is not kidding when she says that your poetry is awesome (I was going through the Shared Haiku thread archives, and you had some real winners in there, too). Anyhow, a big congratulations to you, Virgil. :thumbs_up

And yes, such events would not come to pass smoothly without the hard work of Scheherazade, so yay and kit-kats from me too!
