:wave: Hey everyone! It's been a long time since I've been around, but I've found myself with some extra time here and there lately, so I thought I'd stop by. Lot's of new members!! I look forward to meeting everyone and seeing some old friends too.
My hours have recently (and finally!) changed so I have more daylight to get things done. Lately, I've felt like when the sun goes down, so should I. So, for what I've been up to:
Since I was here last, I think I had just quit teaching. A few weeks later, I got a position on an internal IT helpdesk. I find this very funny since I really am not very good with computers (I guess I just follow directions really well). But my husband works for the same company and it's nice to be in the same building with him.
Since working IT is very dry for me, I guess my creative energy has found more focus. I'm working on a novel and am about 65 pages in. It probably isn't any good and won't get published, but it feels good writing it.
And the biggest news of all... I'm 5 months pregnant with our first! We've agreed that we're going to wait on finding out the gender (Leo's not the greatest at gift giving, so I get few surprises anymore :lol: ). As much as I want a girl, I'm kind of hoping for a boy first because we can't agree on a girl's name. lol.
