HI!
I really need your help.

I'd like to read something about college students (18-21 years old): studying, friendship, love, typical problems etc. I hope it is clear...................
Maybe you know the TV-show ONE TREE HILL........ I want to find stories like this.
What books you can advise me to read?

And thank you for your attention and your help...........

there are lots of books out there especially for teens, i think these are the ones you are looking for. i saw an entire section on them in Barnes&Noble and Books-a-Million the other day but didn;t really go through it, so you might want to check at your local bookstore.

the closest thing to what you're looking for that i can recommend is The Secret Life of a Schoolgirl, by Rosemary Kingsland. it's a memoir and is not really much like One Tree Hill but is worth the read, and it deals with being a "schoolgirl".

I wrote this earlier today to you on a different site, but maybe you didn't see it:

There are always the books about Elisabeth and Jessica Wakefield from Sweet Valley (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweet_Valley_University). There are books about them (I just looked it up) when they both go to High School (Sweet Valley High) and also when they start college. Don't know if that's what you want, but it's about people that age at least.

Better than books about students are such books as Conjure Wife, probably the best book ever about college life. College students play a major part in the story, but the main characters are faculty and their wives.

Hmm, not really sure if this is what you're looking for - and I've not actually read the book yet - but based on the film, perhaps E.M. Forster's Maurice. I should mention that it deals rather heavily with, among other things, homosexuality.

I've never seen One Tree Hill before, but I'll let you know if I get pubished (though I doubt it will happen). The book I'm writing now is about a girl who get's a scholarship to NYU and how she adjusts to life in NYC.
