heehee, that's easy :) I can teach you the theoretical side of it but you'll have to do the practical training yourself (if you get clobbered for it by your fellow Englishmen, I deny any responsibility.)

theory of German humour
say the most outragous, insulting things totally out of the blue in a deadpan voice (so as to confuse the person being insulted). (I'll give you an example later.. there's a very good one in a Guardian article, but I've got it at home. I'm at univ at the moment). That was only the dummy version of course. There's a more sophisticated one, but of course I can't expect you to understand the intricacies of it.

I do feel honoured! But I'm just knitting pullovers for my daughters so Robbie will have to wait.

About that cake of yours - I'd rather like to be Superior Baker of Black Forest cakes. It's faster than knitting. I made one for Christmas; sorry to say there's nothing left (of the cake, stupid, not of the knitting!). :D
