Hi! I happened to stumble across your forum while browsing the net and I thought it looked quite fun :)

My name's Stephanie, I'm 20 and I basically study languages (my original degree's name is Translation and Interpretation, but I am now doing a year of random subjects in Queens University Belfast). I'm half-canadian/half-spanish and I move around a lot, so I'm rarely more than a couple of years in one place.

I love reading although sadly I read much less that I'd like, and my main hobbie is definitely music.

Anyway, I think that that's enough for now.

Hi! Thanks ^^

Yes, I've just seen the book club, it looks like fun (I've quite liked my literature tutorials in uni, which are pretty much like a book club). Classes don't start again until the end of the month, so time isn't an excuse :P

Good day and welcome earther designated Nocturna. You will no doubt find that there are quite a few sane people on this board, but that I am not one of them, so if you'll excuse me, I'm of to more no good. :D

Query: What does your screen name refer to? Is it plain or intricate? The explanations can be numerous, so please offer the one that most applies.

I see you take your interrogation job seriously indeed.

Sane people are quite boring anyway :P

My screen name... hmmm... sadly it's quite plain. Nocturna = nocturne in spanish (wow!! that was a hard one to figure out...). I consider myself a creature of the night :P

Ah, so it is the simple explanation, It is usually the most fitting, as it is in your case no doubt. You don't have pointy teeth right? (one cannot be too careful, what with all the vampires running around these days) ;)

Yup... I just read the rules from your signature, it says nothing about eating smileys. I think it's better that eating forum members... that would probably ruin my popularity.

You can still bite them in the neck and take some blood, just don't let me catch you doing it, or I might have to take you in for questioning. :)

I do not suck blood!! I howl to the moon!! (and sometimes I howl at cats and tortoises who pass by as well).

Yes, I seem to see cloned smilies everywhere... hmmm... suspicious. I must look further into this matter.

(This is the longest welcome post I've ever had.... fun though, as it's hard to post around the forum, I don't usually like huge forums... they're not cozy... :()

EDIT: !!! A smily has infiltrated into my post!! Spy!!

It is indeed quite a nice place... too nice. Damn the minute I stumbled across this forum!!!! Here I was calmly writing my essay... that's history now xDDD

(On a fragment from Jane Austen's "Persuasion", which surprisingly, I loved... quite boring at first, but once I got into it... I almost cried at the end... and that's a lot coming from me! :P)

"Noct's" ok. ^^

Oh... I didn't some in here to see how to write my essay, I was actually looking for quotes on the interpretation of literature and stumbled across an interesting thread on it. (A good quote and they can't fail me... because I can interpret the fragment I'm commenting on however I want!! Haha!! xDDD I try to be "controversial" in my essays, makes them more fun...). I have looked a bit at the Jane Austen section anyway :) Maybe I might get ideas.

Noct you may have to fight me for it, and be warned I have the smilies support... ( even if I am in christmassy avys for the time being) I didnt realise that you meant that was the essay you were writing I thought ou meant that was what youd like to discuss:blush:

Nocturna

Ah, it doesn't matter.... I've just seen many threads of "help me write my essay" and find it quite annoying :P

So how much will the 2 blushing smilies be?? (I'll try bribery first... too lazy for fights, unless they involve laser sables).
