Today, Christmas, i got a book from my grandma and i wanted to know what kind of book it was; would you let your kids read it?

my mom is going to read it first, but we want to also get other opinions.
i know that is kinda short and demanding, but i don't know anything about this and would like to what the theme of the book is (without giving the ending of course :D ).
the writer is James Patterson if that is any help. What type of books does he write, ect. thanks for whatever help you give me!-argetlam

I love Maximum Ride! I have all of three of the books in the series. James Patterson is a mystery/crime drama writer usually but this series differs. It's all about the new science of today and how it can affect our life and other's lives. The book is about the action and adventure that surrounds and follows this make-shift family of kids and teenagers. I highly recommend it!

you're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed them! Next try reading When the Wind Blows and then The Lake House. Might have to skip a few dirty parts but other than that, they are amazing books!!!

yes, i'm very careful about the dirtiness. that's why at first i started this thread. me and my mum weren't sure how clean it was. but it was clean, 'cept for the cuss words. but when readint 'em they don't effect me as much as when i hear them. part of the reason is 'cause i can pretend that they said something else. thanks again.
