Colours

Merry Christmas!
Okay, so here is some questions about colours....
>What is your favourite colour? (be precise)
>Why is it your favourite colour?
>What does it resemble for you?
>Do you think we all have identical perceptions of colours or is my blue different to your blue?

Personally, my favourite colour is bright emerald green...scratch that, any shade of green excluding luminous and khaki green. I just find it mysterious and fascinating. Light greens remind me of the summer grass and generally summertime. For me, it resembles curiousity, mystery and the beauty of everything. Im not sure about the human perception of colour... but I think it would be extraordinary if each individual saw one colour a different way to another.

I love blue. Mostly light blue, but I like midnight blue also, and okay, pretty much any shade of blue :lol:

Yup, light blue looks pretty to me too.

Well, it still looks blue most of the time :D

But now that I think about it, I think I've heard that water IS actually blue, it's just so slightly blue that you can't see it unless you have a large amount of water. :p

Hehe and to me it always seemed to take colour of whatever I put it into. I guess I should not probably put much importance on my own observations... :p But you are right I think. It's considered to be very light blue hue... :)

My favorite colour is purple, all shades of it. It gives me a sense of mystery and warmth, resembling all those pretty little flowers. I believe that each one of us associates a certain colour with a different experience, a different image. For example, my cousin hates purple because it reminds him of death. In my opinion, it is a matter of perception.

Green and orange, I think. They're fun, bright colors, which fit me just fine because I like to think of myself as fun and bright.

Purple and black. They give me a great feeling together, something like darkness but nice. I almost only wear black and purple or similar colours or shades. (sometimes I wear grey or white or green as well, but not as much).

Never thought people might perceive colours differently but thinking about it, it's likely... I had a friend who is kind of colourblind but she would see some sort of colours, well of differences, not just black and white... sometimes she would guess right, sometimes not...
