I could not ascertain the stars
Nor comprehend the seas,
Too broad the span of molecules
For narrow minds are these.
I cannot say how Robins know
To punctual nests return
When Spring has scarce put up her lace
And donned her emerald gown.
Yet this I know: should Nature fade
Into a memory,
Our Love will comprehend all time
And grasp eternity!
Nor comprehend the seas,
Too broad the span of molecules
For narrow minds are these.
I cannot say how Robins know
To punctual nests return
When Spring has scarce put up her lace
And donned her emerald gown.
Yet this I know: should Nature fade
Into a memory,
Our Love will comprehend all time
And grasp eternity!
