There is this poem by William Golding that was posted and discussed upon another forum, called The Light Bulb Man, and it was a pretty intresting poem I thought, but there is one thing which puzzled me. Within the poem there are two names listed and I cannot decipher just who these people are suppose to be. I was wondering if anyone could shed some insight on the significance of the names Withrow and Derrick and within the poem.
Originally I had the poem posted here, but I was informed there was some copyright issues based on when the poem was published so I removed it though I was unable to find a link to the poem anywhere online, I can keep looking, but untill then if anyone who knows the poem can help me that would be apperciated.
