Hello I will be writing an essay comparing 1984 and We. I would like some ideas for a thesis. I would probably like to formulate a thesis about the similarities in these two books but I don't know where to start, I have been thinking about how the government tries to control the masses through psychological manipulation and tries to take away rights and freedoms to gain control.
I will also be giving a seminar presentation to my class about a topic that can be taken from 1984 and We. For example psychological manipulation. This can be an educational/entertaining seminar. It does not have to be similar to thesis/essay. I don't really need to refer to the books that much just talk about the topic in general.
