When I drew the curtain
to turn my eyes at this world
after so many years of hardship,
this world had already left me very far behind.
Oh, I never had a sparks of awareness
that I was living in the world of my own
while the real world was transforming dramatically.
But, this world didn't even notice
that I'm still right here and I'm still the same.
When I had the time for my friends,
they had already gone so far away
and my girl, she had already found another man.
Oh, I never realized
that I was so disconnected from this world
while the people were changing surprisingly.
But, I wondered why nobody ever noticed
that I'm still right here and I'm still the same.
When I finally had the time to myself,
I had already knocked myself out.
This world turned it's eye at my fragile life
being shattered like a broken glass.
This world definitely noticed this time
that I'm still right here but I'll never be the same again.
