If you knew the world was coming to end

How would you behave if you knew the world was coming to an end? How would you spend your last day on earth? I would buy out the liquor store and call up every one I know, play Tool-aenima on the stereo, have one last party... at least nobody would feel the hang-over the next day:D

I'd treat all those around me to a drink (which in Baki-language means get drunk!) Party until the end, and as soon as the world is ending, say goodbye to all those I love, and drug myself into a deep sleep, so if it isn't destroyed I survive.

I would scope all four corners of the earth to find that special somebody I could call "friend".

Pretending to have a friend whilst stagnating in seclusion... is not the same as actually having one. How I wish it was :(

I would take my dog in my arms and we would wait together.

I'd ask for forgiveness from everyone: my family, friends, those kids I sweared at (quietly) who jaywalked across the highway, the politicians I back-bit about, and I'd make me and my father reconcile. Then I'd drive down to central Illinois (where the corn fields are) and lay down and pray, and affirm my love, my beliefs, my self, and close my eyes till it takes me away.

I don't know. I suppose I would go swimming in the ocean. It is so huge and terrifying, yet peaceful. I don't even know. Just swim until I die. I guess.

For myself, I would just go find some nice, peaceful corner of the Earth to settle down in until the end. And say my goodbyes to families, friends, loves...

i would smoke a bowl and then swallow six pills of good ecstasy in a row. which is just enough to not kill you; and then i would play letdown and die with friends.

Of course I wanna spend my time with my family and friends. They are the most important people in my life. That way, if the world ends, I didn't waste my precious time. While I am with them, we'll do everything we have in mind. That'll be awesome.

This is a very depressing thought. I know the concept has been used in literature time and time again, but I would like to read a fresh take. Hopefully ending with a death and not a miss calculation and the world endures (such a cheat).
