Before I go quitely into the night
let my childern see the light.
behind no gun comes freedom to own
no 5 o'clock story will bring fame to my home.
Shed the tears for victims that fall
prepare yourself to answer the call.
a wounded country by absents of age
looking for a place to make it's stage.
Some in school, others at the mall
we're going to have to address it all.
