Like a Glasgow Kiss from a rhino:
Painful.
Full, full of pain.
Fools. Fools slipping on panes --
Windows into my heart. --
Ouch! The broken glass, it hurts!
Pains?

This poem is one that I've just dug out from a while back, as my quick "hello!" to everyone. Personally, I think it's mad and weird, nonsensical and rubbish, but I do really like the first line. It's been in my head for ages.

I should explain: Glasgow Kiss is English slang (not used that often) for a head-butt. Not very nice at all! But I like it :)

I'm writing some funny poems at the moment though, so hopefully they'll turn out better. Any tips/insults/opposite of insults greatly appreciated :D

Nice to be here, and I've loved the poems I've read of others,
~Chris

Hi Chris and welcome here! :)

I like your poem, it sounds fun and strange. I am not sure I understand your first line though. But I love all the rest. This way you play with words. :)

Thank you all, for the very nice response :D I'm going to have a nice trawl through the PP archives now :)

I really like Prince Myshkin's "Human-being thing" poem, and I will definitely check out pendragon and jon1lit's poems, as well as all the other cool ones I've spotted around already! ~Chris
