Can the brother even exist at all? i want to know because O'Brien easily lured Winston into believing that he was part of the brotherhood and then arrested him. Who knows how many people are out there that are like O'Brien. i dont think the brotherhood could possible exist.

The Brotherhood probably couldn't exist because the ministry of love knows way to much and has way too many people working for it. The brotherhood could exist if had been started before the thought police. Then they would have a head start but it supposed to be a reaction to the rebellion so that couldn't have happened. Also everyone who could be a possible brother is in the ministry of love either as a prisoner or an employee.

I think that the Brother Does actually exist. It is hard to believe that someone didnt form it with all these people who are committing thoughtcrimes. Easily they could make a secret place underground without telescreens and bugs. Im sure that oneday the brotherhood will attempt to bring down Big Brother.
