Another thread idea I stole from another bored.
For me it's slow drivers merging onto the freeway. The idea is to get up to speed to go with the flow of drivers not make everybody come to a screeching halt while you gingerly move into traffic. Once a car I was in back of actually stopped on the on ramp and looked to see if anybody was coming. We sat there forever waiting for the oncoming cars to clear.:crash:

I'm not sure I've got the right idea on this thread, but speeding will get me a ticket or in jail one of these days. I'm lucky because my son-in-law is with the County Sheriff's Office and Poppy is an officer of the court, I worked for the City Police and State Police so I know a lot of the guys who write traffic tickets around here, but I do drive too fast and have very little patience for the idiots that pull out in front of you when you're going 75 and they are going 25!!!! Where is there heads? And I work in a tourist town with people driving down the street going 10 mph with everything clear in front of them just looking at WHAT??? Go where you're going and remember some of us have to get to work or home.

Exactly Granny!
Another one for me is loud music in clothing stores. One of these days I'm just gonna go over to the speakers, rip them out of the wall and smash them to bits and at that point I'll be carted off to jail... If this happens in Arkansas can I give you a call?

Only one of two things will land me in jail: I'll either go insane like teh parental unit or get carried away with protesting against the government.

Hey, give me a call and I'll see what I can do....unless I'm in the next cell.
BECAUSE...someday I'll hurt some young waitress for asking ME, NOT POPPY, if I get the senior discount!

I hope nothing, but if anything were to ever trip me up, I would say it would be my anger or need for vengeance.

My anger. I've a really bad temper.
If not that i'm sure someone will find or create a law to have me committed for being too bookish.

There are several things that could land me in jail, but I will not be convicted by a jury of my peers.

I really don't have a temper until someone really does something stupid. I have to control my anger over stupidity. If I don't, my bad habit of expressing how I feel comes out by either words or just a deadly look I give that person. I tend to show this anger most of all when I am driving. I can just see one of these days I will get so upset at some other driver who did someting SO stupid. Then even though that driver would be in the wrong, I will be the one to get in trouble for my reaction!

I have no anger issues but the thing most likely to land me in the slammer is the almost irresistable urge to throw something round and stinky at most of my elected officials. I combat this by only watching them on television or listening on the radio, so if I should lose control only I will suffer. Besides I do no usually have round or stinky matter lying around my living room although with five children underfoot you never know.

my foul mouth and slooooooooow pedestrians on the sidewalk before me.
I hate it when I'm trying to overtake like 5 bi*tches who walk abreast at one 64th of a mile per hour and you can't pass because they've got their stupid clutch bags sticking out of their armpits in all directions.
I don't mean old grannies or window-shoppers. i mean 20 year old girls who know where they are heading but crawl along like a snail that's got half it's body amputated. I tend to say things like "Come on you bi*tches, move your fat *sses" or "Is this the old age pensioners' day out, or what?" out loud. :D

Not that it is of any consequence, since as king of the Infinite Universe, Mars, and the Nation of the Glorious Turnip, I can always pardon myself if I get bored. :D

I'm with Virgil. My temper will be the most likely thing to get me arrested. I guess it is good that only harm or danger to my kids my others stupidity really triggers it these days. Well, that is all that trigger me into an uncontrolled rage anyhow. Someone almost hit my 4 year old with a car the other day because they didn't look before backing up. I've also had people not stop at cross walks and one almost hit the cart that had both my kids in it. Things like that, if they were to ever happen, would land me in jail. I'm not sure a judge would take to kindly to me beating someone to a pulp, even if my rage was justifies:blush:

killing mazHur the next time he says physics and maths arent suitable subjects for women, or when he posts a love-related haiku knowing for sure that i'm on my way to the haiku-thread and thereby stopping my haiku-muse!
 kidding.
It'll either be my eccentric sense of humor that gives me away to the cops, or because i'll kill my maths demonstrator someday thinking she's the household rat that annoys me so. :flare:

I hardly have a temper, so my crime would have to be a decidedly more calculated one. Perhaps if I "forgot" to return the 100 or so library books I have out and made off to California with them: on the lam driving a bookmobile of ill gotten gains! :brow: Though come to think of it, they wouldn't grant me my degree if I did that, so I guess I'll have to play it straight. Maybe I can learn how to make exquisite forgeries of illuminated manuscripts to sell on the black market instead. That would be a neat reason to land in jail.

I will probably land in jail some day for assaulting a phone. It drives me out of my mind when I call a help line or customer line and I get the automated attendant that makes your jump through hoops, asking the same questions time and damn the luck if you punch in the wrong number and you have to start again, then you get to the human voice and they ask the same information you've already provided 2-3 times previously.

Yes!!! I hate that so much. I swear this happened to me once: I was talking to one of those things and I kept saying my last name and it didn't know what I was saying and THEN the automated voice said, "I'm sorry, did you say 'idiot'? I-D-I-O-T" I'm not even kidding.
. . . maybe I will get in trouble for photocopying too many books . ..

One more: Taking my resuable canvas bags to the supermarket (where I bought them from) and the manager always putting them in a plastic bag then looking at me and saying "OH did you want to use these?":flare: :crash: But even better today when the cashier asked "Did you find everything ok?" I said "No, I couldn't find the Count Chocula" the cashier then ignored me. If you're gonna ask be prepared for the answer!!!!!!

Probbly either my step-dad's nephew will talk me into something and I'll get caught one time or I'll end up like my dad, but without the benefit of having the military evaluate my condition. Or underage drinking if I ever get caught without being a minor(there's a complex explanation). If anything. I doubt anything will get me in jail anytime soon though. In the future, who knows.

The one thing that will most likely get me in jail is my passion for liberty and independance. I have no respect and little tollarance for the law and those who claim to understand and enforce the same.
Random acts carefully crafted and carried out undermine fools!!
