Is it worth reading this book? I have read that it is a bit political, though it was supposed to be a children's book. Any thoughts, then share?

Yes, the book is a wonderful read. I wouldn't actually call the book all that politcal. The writing is excellent, and although it sounds hard to believe Richard Adams gets you involved with the characters. Action, romance, suspense all wrapped up in the lives of some adventurous rabbits. A classic book you really should try.

It is a great book. Everyone should read it. Those rabbits are amazing, and Kehaar is a great character. :D

I found it difficult trying to read as a child, I started it but could not get through it becasue it rather confused me, but looking back I would like to give it another chance.
