I'm writing a paper on silence in the poems of Catherine Barnett and Mary Jo Bang, specifically as it relates to the grief content of their poems. I've read a few things about how silence operates in poems but I'm wondering if anyone can point out a few other articles, books, papers, whatever that might give me a better feel for it. This is my first poetry class as a Master's student and I'm not as confident as I'd like for writing this paper.
