Hello. My name is Adorerodio and I am addicted to Lit Net. I am not the only one out there, I know this to be true. This is the thread to talk about your addiction to Literature Network.
Steps towards No Addiction-
Step one: Admit you have a problem
Step two: Talk about your problem
Step three: Make goals to.....wait a minute! WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO NOT BE ADDICTED TO LITNET!:D
Step One revised version: Continue to enjoy being a LitNet addict and talk about you addiction here.
So, how addicted are you?

Good one Adoreo. I'm addicted too, as you can probably tell by my number of posts. Lord knows I've argued with my wife with being on here too much. ;)

My post number hardly shows that of an addicted LitNetter, at least not compared to yours Virgil (^: but eventually I have no doubt it will. It seems that every time I get on the internet to do homework I always end up typing online-literature.com (which I now can type at a world record speed, having typed it so much) (^; . And then I'm on here for hours and never do a speck of homework. I do believe I'd be on here 18 hours a day if it weren't for school. (^:

AdoreroDio, I think your thread is the right one for me!!!
Yes, I'm a litnet addict, and I'm proud of it.
First, I have this urge to log in everyday. If I don't, I feel like a total failure.
Then, when I'm here, I just can't seem to get my eyes and fingers off the screen, even though nothing much is happening. I simply scroll through old threads and look for interesting ones to reply to.
Sometimes, I skip meals because of Litnet. I believe Litnet is far more interesting than eating lunch, which is oh-so-dull and routine. :p (When in school, only when I hear the warning bell do I force myself to log off and run to my next class.)
Litnet seldom gets me in trouble. :) Which is good.
However, there are times when I get too hooked on the site, that I forget to do my homework and risk hoping for the teacher to postpone the deadline. It really is dangerous, telling you. That is why I am trying not to become the total addict I almost am--in fact, I think I am.
I have absolutely no plans of giving up litnet simply because I have a slight psychological problem to cure (really, I do). Since the time I made my horrible entry to this forums half a year ago, it has already become a part of my life. :D

I fell the exact same way, even though we're not allowed to get on any forums at school )^; otherwise I'd be on every minute there I could too! And I do the same thing you do, I stay extremely focused on the screen even if nothing much is going on- even when it's one in the morning! Any reason to get on and I'll be on and like you said sometimes I forget to do hw! lol

Awww, that's rather sad for you.
Still, it could be a great advantage for me, as it wouldn't have to take my concentration off my studies.
But then I wouldn't have achieved my thousandth post.

Well, it's a part of my daily routine (almost). Even if I visit it for half an hour or an hour, I don't get this feeling that I am missing something from my schedule. :D

I'm with you Adoreo. I don't seem to care so much about the internet in general. I do get a lot of my news from it now. But other than that it's lit net and the wonderful community we have that brings me to the computer. I'm a casual member of a few other forums, but I hardly care.

I'll let you guys know how to make your own if mine works.
I'm not sure what to use acrylics, iron-ons or scree-printing. Have you got any ideas?

I came up with some interesting facts-
Out of 925 LitNetters that exist today 17.4% have 500 posts or more (161 to be exact) and 59% of that (10.3% of all LitNetters) have over 1,000posts!

I would suggest screen-printing. It works well. We did a T with a picture of a parrot on it, once, don't ask me why.
