Could we make a quiz here?
The basic rules would be:
The person, who gets most points from the previous quiz, can start the next one

There are four categories:
Literature and culture (including art and music);
History, geography and sport; (nah, I know nothing of sports, so I put it within another caategory, not a separate one)
science, logic and nature;
varia (no category, you can ask anything you want)
All categories are equal and should have got equal maximum points.
The person who is making the quiz, gives the questions of one category at a time, names how many points one can get from answering a certain question.
You can distribute the points between the questions of the same category freely.
You answer the question through and only through private message.
You can answer the questions of one category in two days, then the person who makes the quiz tells the answers and also how many points people got.
The questions should not be subjective, not like : "Who is the greatest romantic poet?"

Literature and culture. (This is a literature forum. Would I ask a question about classical literature, I could get so many answers that I'd go insane. So I ask about a romantic composer and about a sci-fi novel)

Question 1.1 He was born in 1810 and he died in 1849 into a lung disease. He was a great romantic composer.
In 1831-1849 he lived in Paris, but he was not born there. Almost everything he wrote was for piano. He has written many mazurkas, polonaises,waltzes , nocturns and preludes. He has written a cycle of preludes of 24 preludes, each one from a different key.
Name the composer. (2p)
Question 1.2 Etude is a piece of music to advance one's technical skills. The composer of Q 1.1 has written two compendiums of etudes (op. 10 and op. 25), but them being so beautiful that they are being played on concerts. (so called "concert etudes") Both compendiums consist of 12 etudes.
By which name is the etude nr. 12 c-minor from the first compendium (op. 10) better known as? (3p)

Q 2.1 This is an old logical-mathematical problem:
A man came to the shop of merchant A. He bought a suitcase which costed 5$. The man paid with a 10$ note. The merchant A did not have any change, so he went into the shop of a neighbour merchant (merchant B), and changed the money. He came back to his shop, gave the man 5$ change and the man left.
After a while, merchant B noticed that the 10$ note was false money. He went to merchant A and demanded a real note for the false money. Merchant A gave it to him.
Merchant A calculated his losses:

Q 3.1 What are those famous astral bodies, which's escape velocity is bigger than any known speed? Escape velocity is the speed a body needs to escape the influential area of some greater body. (For example: If Earth's escape velocity is 11000km per second then you have to develop that speed to escape from Earth;(i.e. if you want to go to the Moon)) (2p.)

1.1 - Plants get their food through the sunlight, through photosynthesis, and fungi get their food through other living organisms.

Fungi also do not have roots, stems, flowers or leaves.

But fungi and plants both sometimes reproduce sexually or asexually, and plants sometimes do reproduce from spores. I'm curious, do more plants reproduce asexually or sexually? My first thought was the latter, but after a few minutes of searching I haven't found the answer.
