Not all of it rhymes correctly; it's just me screwing around and trying to be funny. :p


'Princess Me' by me
*Inspired by my mother who is sad about getting old.*

Princess Me was as fine as could be,
but was victim to her vanity.
"My skin is fair; I love my hair.
For anyone else, I have not a care.
There is no one I'd rather be than Princess Me."

But then one day, an awful thought came to Princess Me.

"There shall come a day when I will be old and grey!"
She could not let such a future come to play.
"There must be something I can do!
I can not let this follow through!"
She pondered everyday just to find some way.

She thought and thought for so ever long,
but then one day a special someone just happened to cross her way.

It was a fairy, and she could sense Princess Me was warey.
"She shall be merry or forever shall I be hairy" thought the fairy.
For no fairy could bare to see so much pain in someone so fair,
So with fairy flair, fly to Princess Me's side she did dare.
"I see Princess that you are warey. What is it you find so very scary?"

So the princess spoke her fear, and the fairy knew where to look for help.

"Dear Princess Me you must follow me.
I shall take you to the sea for wairy you can not be.
It is there I have a friend who will put your troubles to an end.
Her aid she shall lend for worries she does like to mend.
She is the fairy of the sea, and it is to her you must speak your plea."

And so to the sea, the princess and fairy did flee. And to the fairy of the sea Pincess Me did say:

"I wish there were some way that I could never age another day."

Now our tale comes to an end,
for the fairy of the sea,
her aid she did lend.
With a great big wave,
Princess Me was washed away and dead.
Never to have a wrinkle by her eye or a grey hair grow on her head.

Well, the rhyme is pretty good.
