Simple poetry is so small,
Simple words simply can’t say it all.
Be it bland,
I will just write it down on demand.
I never asked for much,
So with these wishy-washy words I’ll just release the clutch.
Here in my head, on my paper.
Words from my bed, I’ll halt their taper.
I never had a point,
So these simple poem ideas I’ll disjoint.
I’ll even use a metaphor,
Like what’s my time better for?
Even if I play,
I’ll still say,
These simple poems just aren’t for me.
They run in circles and won’t leaf like a tree.
