I read this yesterday Hephzibah, but didn't have time to write a response.I really like this poem..which really seems like it could be a song. I like the way that it rhymes in such a natural way - it doesn't seem like the words have been chosen for their rhyme, which makes it flow so well. I like the way you have contrasted the outward with the inner - that which appears is kind of temporary, but what is on the inside is a strong and enduring truth. I think its great!
