How could a society just let them run the country. In this book the chilrdren have much more power than the adults. I mean any little Johny that can go to the police and say "hey mr. thought policeman my mom said BB is no good, i think she should be hanged". It's outrageous Orwell is right in predicting that kids in 84 and today will have more power than in 48 but he went a little overboard. If i went to a deputy and said " Hey sir may we please go hang my mom she says bush is no good" he would think seriously about having me go to a physcologist.:flare: I would be scared to live in a society like that theres no laws no one stopping a 3 year old from lying about something a parent said because mommy spanked him to hard. It would be a complete mess i dont think any place could ever be like that..

Give me your opinions

i agree with what you are saying 100%. But today in 2007 the kids have the power to do almost just that. Think if some little kid went to its parents and said mommy that kid/teenager just hit me. the immediate reaction of the parent is to fight:flare: or protect their child by arguing as well:argue: .

so yea orwell maybe went a little overboard but think wut the childeren could do in the future.

Yes, that is very true, and the way society is set up, a child whose judgement is questionable which is why they are sitll suppose to have parently guidence can say just about anything about anyone and it will be looked into.

If a kid got a bad grade, they could make up something about the teacher, and even if the teacher did not do anything and it is proven they are innocent, there would still be a stain upon thier reputation.

Or to take a slightly unsophaticated look, though still relevent I think, that episode of South Park, where all the childern got rid of the adults by starting to tell everyone that thier parents had molested them.
