In 1984 the kids are little spies with alot of power. Their parents love them for doing in our oppnion awful things. Like burning people alive:bawling: . My question about the kids is why do they attack Winston have they been spying on him and watching what he does? Are thoose kids in charge of watching Winston?

No no no. The kids are brainwashed into thinking that everyone could possibly be a spy. They go to school, and they are told to watch everyone.

The parents think that their kids are doing something amazing for society, when really they are just turning into spies. No one will be safe. However, there is no proof that the kids arnt spying on Winston , I just believe that its not logical to think that. The kids spy on their parents, and the lady who wrapped the sausage in the Big Brother poster

I think that in the process of "attacking" Winston, they are trying to see if he is a traitor. Like if someone is pressuring you, you might give in. If you've read the whole book, you'll see that does happen, even to the strongest people.

Hope that helps :)
