I'm Possibly the only person on this site thats read this book but, Hellfire by Mia Gallagher. Its got childish ideology mixed up in a world of Drug abuse and gangs in Dublin during the late 70's and 80's. Its a *****star book.

If you want to read some classics, the following might appeal to you:
William Golding, Lord of the Flies
Alan Sillitoe, The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner
J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye
These all deal with people about your age. You might also try
George Orwell, Animal Farm (If you have a strong sense of justice.)
These books are all entertaining and at the same time thought-provoking.

I've not read it for a while, but try Geek Love. I don't remember the author, but it was a really good book. It is somewhat challenging to read, and the story both disquiets and entertains you. It has some very adult subject matter, and some of it is like a train wreck you can't look away from. It is really worth the time to read it.
