I write indeed for a market
I carve out my niche in the bosom of your mind.
I am the sculptor
I can not do without carving.
But I need something to carve on
Without you I can not do it.
I have a flute of ideas
But you are the air
Without you my flute does not work.

I am a brush and without a canvas
I can not paint my imagination.

We both are related,
Intertwined
You and me
The reader and writer

Definitely Blaze, it's true. This is what forum intended to be. Without reader and writer forum cannot exist either.

I loved this line very much Blaze.

I carve out my niche in the bosom of your mind.

Best,

Of course you're right Blaze - whilst we all, to an extent, write for ourselves there is always a reader in mind, a reaching out to touch the mind of another. I enjoyed these lines:

As writers we need more than pen and paper, an audience, even if an audience of one, is obligatory.
