Hey, is anyone else doing the nanowrimo thing? National write a novel in a month, month?

I signed up for it, but as I haven't got any clue what to write about, I doubt I'll get too far. :p

I found out about it a few days ago, but I don't understand what there is to sign up for. I will either write more, or I won't. Are there any benefits to signing up?

I didn't know anything about signing up, but I was going to do it anyway. What is the purpose of signing up for it?
