What is the worst thing you ever got while trick or treating?

Did you get bruised apples, raisens or those terrible candies wrapped in orange and black paper that taste like dusty peanut butter and get stuck in your teeth.

Oh for God's sakes. It's Halloween! Someone take my poll! I know we have all received items in our trick or treat bags that have totally sucked. Sometimes, it was raisens (spelling?) othertimes it was bad candy, like off brand M&M's (you know what I am talking about - they were never the same) or some unidentifable sugared something wrapped in orange and black paper. And then there were the people who put a penny in your trick or treat bag or a folded up piece of paper with a religious message (often mispelled) printed on it. someone take my poll! I'm having a low self-esteem day.

I got a Watchtower mag. one time. The house that gave them out got toilet paper all over their trees. ( wasn't me)

I was just talking about those to my mother this morning! I always was disappointed to get those. My mother always loved them. Needless to say, she would eat them then!

I remember getting a brochure from a woman who was starting her own daycare. WHY??!?? That never made sense to me. Give it to the parents, not the kids! I didn't get candy out of it either. :mad:

I never tried trick or treating before. We don't do it here in my country. How sad... it sounds pretty fun though.

lol :blush: this year i went with my little sister...i got lots of nasty looks becuase she was tired of holding the bag after 2hrs, so i had her on my back and was holding the bag for her so we could continue...i got cussed out, and i was given a thong...a used one at that.. it was so freaking grossssss! so that totay ends my trick-r-treating
