Understanding INGSOC

Alright, I am trying to get a sence of what Ingsoc really is. My teacher won't give us a clear answer. (actually, he won't give us any answer at all) So, This is what I have about Ingsoc so far. If any of it is wrong or if I am missing things please help me understand this.

INGSOC
Is a philosophy
it was english socialism of which newspeak was the vocabulary
Ideology of the totlitarian government of Oceania
the party rewrites the whole language to make ambiguous the true meaning of words and ideas behind them. (A principle of ingsoc)
Ingsoc demands complete submission and tortures to achieve it
Has mastered a complex system of phychological tools and methods not only to make people confess imagined crimes, but to actually love Ingsoc.
It is controlling the media, peoples minds, the family and how they run their lives.

This doesn't really make sence to me though. (I am kind of thick brained when it comes to english) Please Help.

They moved words which could be used for saying things against Party or anything similar, like remembering history, resistance, etc. Without appropriate words, you can hardly express your ideas. In coming years, elders will die and all ancient words will be forgotten. Youth will have only Ingsoc and Party will succeed in their plans.
