Simply post a description of the object you have last seen, and the next poster will try to guess what it is.
Six flat faces, each sporting five colored squares.

naw, it's a soccor ball. Black and white pentagrams are side by side (all the edges touch and since a soccor ball is sort of like a circle, that's why it went on forever - but starfield makes sense - maybe more so, since the universe is constantly expanding and a star has five points. my bad.

A soccar ball is made from "pentagons" sewn together and I submit that any circle or sphere goes on forever, a circle symbolizes eternity. Pentagons are shapes with five equal sides.
A pentagram is a five pointed star, usually surrounded by a circle, sometimes called "The Mark of the Beast" as werewolves are traditionaly said to be marked by that scar and see the pentagram in the palm of their next victim. Pentegrams are associated with magic, in tarrot cards, one suite is usually pentacles or pentagrams (sometimes changed to coins by those who practice white magic).
There is all sorts of weird knowledge in my head. Pentagram said "star" to me while "forever" said "space" therefore "starfield".
I just give mine: Orange smilie: http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/AbsalomKane/Smilies/Pumpkin15.gif
Common over the last week or so, no?
How about "stone and steel".

The sad thing about this is that I do actually know the difference between a pentagon and a pentagram. I should probably pay more attention when I type these things
But thanks for the explanation. I guess I don't deserve the benefit the doubt.
But, in my original post it does say pentagon. It's just in the explanation that I screwed up.
