Is it sarcasm too?
How often do I feel the need to use it? - a lot
How much I use it? - very little (respect people, Mother always taught me :D)
On what kind of people does it usually have no effect? - seemingly, more than half of those for which I use it (but still is my favourite oohooo)
How about you guys?

Ah Pensy *shakes hands*. What better weapon than a sharp tongue, and what better bullets than sarcasm?! Yes i use it too.
I use it often.
How much- A little dose at a time.
On what kind of people does it usually have no effect? - My friends 'cuz they're pretty used to it by now (or so i hope). And then there're those people who doesnt get what i'm saying. Or people who doesnt want to get what i'm saying.

Sarcasm is sweet!

flaming cards,
(i just saw one of the old x-men cartoons with gambit, then i went out, lit a couple of cards aflame and threw them at an archery butt, they all stuck too. they also set it on fire.)

Sarcasm is truly a mighty weapon. Especially when done in a way that the people you are using it against don't even know they are being insulted. It's really quite amusing using intelligent insults on stupid people. It's so easy it should be criminal.

How about guilt- it can be more motivating than sarcasm

I like to kill em with kindness.
Actually, that's not true. I bide my time and wait for the right moment to strike. My weapons are patience, cold calculation, perfect timing, and stealth.

I was just working up a post about kindness. I do use this a lot because I have a thing about feling guilty- and there is that whole heaping hot coals thing

tact, the ability to tell a person to go to hell and make them enjoy the ride.
As I am a Martial Artist, the staff. A long piece of something solid, used properly a very fine weapon.

tears and beauty!
You can get ANYTHING if you cry. (specially if the person who you happen to ask something of while crying is male)

Ignorance is strength of youth; and I also like irony which often prevails to kindness. Weird, I know.

I like sarcasm, but sometime nothing can beat the subtlety of a nicely seasoned peace of oak 2x4

Anger, it's always my weapon. I don't use it often, but I can wield it like a professional when I do. Nothing is worse than my anger, but sarcasm is a close second. I use this much more widely, but I like it more as well:)

Sequence and Position. My hands. I don't fight. I only trained in Aikido for a year and a half, but I absorbed the philosophy of non-conflict. When I am able, I'll start training Tai Chi, and I need to start running again sometime pretty soon.

a great one is cunning, actually back in ancient times, cunning wasn't considered a bad thing. it meant two-handed to the vikings meaning a warrior who could use a sword with both hands and deal a killing blow with either of them.
mind games is easily my favorite sublte weapon. make them think you said one thing, when really you said another

In the dojo (training hall - in japanese martial arts), definitely staff and also sword. In everyday life, spite!

But I use my fencing foil if push comes to shove. ;)

my favorite weapon verbal defense:p
I use wisdom
because I face many silly troubles from silly people in my life. these troubles are unrelated to me.
when I face some body suddenly, I get confused. Also, I can not defend my self very well. :(
I do not use my hands to solve broblems. :thumbs_up

I guess mine is wit. I love to be witty. They never know if I kidding or not, which I think is different than sarcasm.
But if wit doesn't work, lne of these is always good to have around:

Then what do you do with your hands? :p
my favorite weapon is silence. It drives people up the wall when I won't comment on certain things. No matter how hard they try to goad me into talking I won't.

Humour...
Oh yeah, it's indeed a good weapon, especially when you want to shield yourself from an upcoming quarrel. We used to have this teacher who, sometimes, provided wrong information and when someone pointed that out to her, she just started laughing. Laughing badly on herself that she would double up with laughter, on her own self. This prevented anyone from saying anything about her or to her. End of any argument without any real start.

Subliminal messages.
Oh, hi. Nice weather, isn't it? Did you hear about what he said? Do you give a damn? Well, concerning me, your friend really needs an attitude shift, otherwise, it feels as if he is running his head into a wall- it can be very disturbing. Give me your wallet. Thank you.
Have a nice day then.

Hehe. It can be used in both defensive and attacking manner, and I agree with you it can be quite efficient.
