I just heard about this...these 2 giants recording company will merge and become SonyBMG and will be headquartered in New York (previously Sony was in Japan and BMG in Germany). EMI was trying to do the same by trying to buy Warner, yet it failed...

I have no idea that the world recording bussiness is having such hard times since last year.. I suppose SonyBMG will monopolize around 80% of world's recording industry.
