And he stood in the meadow,
Staring out..
As rain fell,
From the infinite sky.

Her name on his lips,
For the last time..

The last time.

Removing her,
From his heart,
His thoughts.

His being.

Silencing
A part of himself,
That had once
Been so alive.

Somewhere,
In a lonely room,
Her voice breaks..
Tears escape,
While she whispers
Goodbye.

And thunder
Rattles the windows,

As her heart breaks,
Yet again.

For the last time..

The last time.

Delivering each of them,
To nights spent alone.
Laying awake..

Withdrawn,
Staring into the darkness,
And wondering..
Why they deny themselves
A life they each deserve.

In their world,
Where
The moon still shines beautifully,
In a luminous sky.

Still,
They gasp for breath..
In a bitter life.

Stone cold
Existence.

Haunted,
By what could have been,
Should have been.

As solitude swallows them whole.

And another day fades...

Very moving indeed. But life is more than that. There are sunnier and rosier sides too. Life is not just shadows but figures too. If there are breaks we should seek to repair and mend them.

Every night cures your wound. For Time is a great Healer.

Flow with the wind of time; sometimes it will land you in a desert and another time you will arrive at the garden of Eden.

Do not lose heart

Good springs will take you to days of blooms and fruitions

All you need is a little patience.

You will get medicines to heal your old wounds.

Time will renew your life the way springs revitalizes the life of the forest
That has lived through winters.

Life it self is a great medicine.
Live life and life will live on and on and on.

At first I thought this was about unrequited love but from this point on it seems more like unpermitted love, as if life's circumstances are keeping the two lovers apart.
Still, I liked it and I think you captured a feeling many of us have known.
If it is about you, listen to Blaze. He has counseled you wisely.

Thanks for reading and commenting symphony, Blaze and ampoule. You are correct ampoule in this being unpermitted love or I will say a love that could be but no freedom for it to blossom. Blaze, your words are pure wisdom, I thank you..that alone is great medicine for the spirit..thank you.
