Moonstruck, A Fantasy

When you invited me to join you at the moon
I had no idea how wonderful it would be,
But seeing it in the sky tonight,
So round and full and satisfied,
With cloud fingers barely touching its chin,
I knew I would be free.
You jumped over and I ran away with the spoon
And we fed each other starry delights.
Listening to you tonight,
Reading fairytales of contentment,
With kneading fingers touching my skin,
You brought me to new heights.
So now it is time to play with this celestial balloon,
To hold it in our hands and bounce it in the sky,
And loving you tonight with little bedtime prayers,
Inflatable hopes intensify.
Catch it! Catch it!
Don't let it go.

You did a great job of sucking me into this "Fantasy" that you've created.
Good job.

So lovely and so Ampoule in its style, weaving fantasy, fairytale, prayer and hope into something as ethereal and at once real as the moon. Beautiful.

To hold it in our hands and bounce it in the sky,
And loving you tonight with little bedtime prayers,
Inflatable hopes intensify.
Catch it! Catch it!

Striking me indeed. How a natural environs can bewitch the pair is very beautifully expressed with poignant words. I am really excited and I desperately am in wait for, indeed for someone who can caress me at this moment.

Marvelously written poem, and any body gets moved, I bet.
