The War

the war is on
guns are fired
explosions going off
the young dying

children who are not men
are being sent over
handed guns to shoot at others
those shots are shot back
and killing those children
who are not men yet

men with families
are dying for our country
firing at even younger children
who do not belong in our country
but do not have a choice about fighting
they are perfecting their land
what they know is right

when will the end of this war be
possibly never
but hopefully soon
the end will come eventually
but whenever that is
will never be known
