so yeah! my school used to be famous for it's football, so they spent all their money on football stuff and sports. now there isn't anyfunds for the art and theatre department and the football team has gone down hill because of grade changing scandals and stuff like that... so now we have a bunch of useless football stuff and really crappy plays... i hate my school...

haha it hints at it everywhere. two that stick out are in genisis where it says that adam and eve realized that they were naked and clothed themselves and also in the letters that paul wrote where he says that women should dress modestly and not exposed their bodies along with a bunch of other bull about us chicks.

but even though the bible doesn't EXPLICITLY say that our bodies are something to be ashamed of, when america was colonized, most christians at the time had very strict rules that were 'derived' from god's word, but were usually misinterpreted and taken out of context.

im just answering why AMERICANS today are uncomfortable naked and have laws against public nudity and such. i'm not saying that it says it exactly in that manner in the bible, but it is in there to an extent from which the leaders of the church at the time that laws were made and precidents were set could arguably say that that's what was meant...

-second, biologically speaking, unless the temperature suddenly changed right after they ate the apple, they would have been adapted to the temperature of the surrounding area so they wouldn't have been 'cold'. and they made aprons, which would not have given them much coverage.
-all the other points are relatively stupid, and i don't have time to get into it now. class change.

Well, first time I've been called stupid in a while.:lol: I kinda enjoy it.
I am not so stupid that I will believe everything someone else tells me. I have read the Bible several time in my long life. I accept it as it is, a written account of history as understood at the time it was written. I do not believe that I have ever read in the Bible that we are supposed to be ashamed of our bodies, and since we were created in God's image, how could we be ashamed of any part of our bodies? I'm not ashamed of being made in God's image, are you?
I find it odd that you have no time to explain why my silly arguments are "stupid". Shouldn't take that long. BTW I am not a college trained scholar of Christianity, but with 50 years of reading the Bible, attending church and Bible class, and teaching Bible class, I may know a couple of things about what it teaches. If you are up on the teachings of Christianity, you should know better than to call anyone, much less an elder, names.
