A question relating to WE aby Zamyatin

My teacher wants to know whether or not (im my opinion) if international organizations are unable to prevent world crisis because if corruption and abuse. In WE, the UN has absolute control with the do-gooder as the leader. How would I be able to compare this to international organizations that are supposed to prevent world crises? I just am having a hard time relating the two.

Hmm, you take the book and you take the real world, you think about it...maybe look at the UN charter on the internet, even go back to the past and FIND OUT WHAT THE HELL HAS BEEN GOING ON. I would try to look at the world of superpowers (massive countries, not men with capes) Take a couple of examples from the cold war, some from the 90's and some from the new millenium. Its called a comparison. It sounds like thats what your supposed to do....

ps - reading is fun, so is learning. Knowledge is useful in the real world.
