Like a terribly wounded spirit grasping onto mere hope.
Like the beating of a hero's heart fueled by never ending courage.
Like the mind of a murderer alone in knowing truth.
Like people rushing to work not always taking notice.
Like a tree in Autumn slowly falling apart.
Like waves crashing against rocks continuously reaching further.
Like clouds in the sky always floating without dismay.
Like a star in space sometimes bright but forever fading.
Like craters on the moon filled with arrant emptiness.
